El fuego, que se desató hace 30 horas y avanza por un frente de 12 kilómetros, no ha provocado de momento ninguna víctima mortal, pero sí que hizo que evacuaran cuatro municipios en Eubea, la segunda isla griega más extensa después de Creta y que se encuentra a un centenar de kilómetros al nordeste de Atenas.
