Qualified candidates who wish to continue their studies at La Salle in an adult undergraduate program are welcome in evening, online and part-time programs. Admission decisions are based on previous academic records, current scholarships, relevance, experience, potential and recommendations. Students interested in moving on to a bachelor`s degree program should have a minimum GPA of 2.25 with a cumulative GPA of 2.50. Some programs may require different requirements. Students can apply for admission to most adult undergraduate programs that begin in the fall, spring, or summer semester. Upon admission, students are ranked according to the program of study for which they applied (i.e., as a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science candidate). An applicant may also be admitted as a special or unregistered student to take courses without reference to study requirements, We ask all students and parents/guardians to speak to a member of the admissions team as part of the January application process. We encourage all families to schedule their interviews as early as possible, as space for each appointment is limited. A non-refundable deposit fee of $100 is payable at the time of submission for all applications. International applicants must have a complete application with all supporting documents at least three weeks prior to the start of the semester.
Applications that are not completed at this time cannot be guaranteed to go through the new I-20 application and visa process for the upcoming semester. First-year applicants must submit two references: one from each of the student`s current English and math teachers. Our placement tests have been developed by our faculty and offer potential 9th grade candidates the opportunity to take advanced or honor courses if admitted to La Salle. Once the teacher has completed and submitted the recommendation, it will be sent directly to our admissions team. Appeals against placement will not be considered if a family decides not to take the placement test.
